At Allison Family Doodles, raising puppies is so much more than feeding, cleaning, and watching them grow. Every detail of their first eight weeks is done with purpose. From the moment they enter the world, our puppies are handled, loved, challenged, and introduced to experiences designed to help build confidence and prepare them for life beyond our home.
We believe great family dogs are created through a combination of thoughtful breeding, strong genetics, intentional raising, and lots of hands on love. Our goal isn’t simply to send home a beautiful puppy, it’s to give each puppy the strongest foundation possible before placing them in the arms of their forever family.

It all begins before our puppies are ever born. We thoughtfully select and pair health-tested parents based on health, temperament, structure, and the qualities we want to continue within our program. A beautiful puppy is only the beginning—the foundation behind them matters.
Those first eight weeks are everything. Our puppies are raised right in the heart of our home with intentional exposure, age-appropriate challenges, handling, household sounds, crate and potty foundations, and plenty of love. Every experience is designed to help build confident, well rounded puppies ready for their next chapter.
We don’t believe in doing anything halfway. We pour ourselves into every litter, paying attention to the little details that are easy to overlook. We continually adjust to what each puppy needs because they’re individuals, not a checklist. The difference is in the time, intention, consistency, and heart behind how they’re raised.
Choosing one of our puppies means becoming part of our family long after go home day. We take the time to know our puppies and our families so we can offer honest guidance throughout the process. Beginning in their first days of life, our puppies participate in Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction. These brief, age appropriate exercises introduce gentle stimulation and new scents during an important stage of development, giving our babies a thoughtful start from day one.
Our puppies are handled individually every single day. We introduce gentle touch to their paws, ears, mouths, bodies and more while also giving them plenty of one-on-one love. Our goal is to make human interaction and everyday handling a normal, positive part of life.
As our puppies grow, so does their world! We intentionally introduce new sounds, surfaces, textures, objects, environments and age-appropriate challenges. Each experience gives them an opportunity to explore, problem-solve and build confidence at their own pace.
GROOMING EXPOSURE
Doodles require lifelong grooming, so we believe those foundations should begin early. Puppies are gradually introduced to brushing, combing, nail care, bathing, drying, paw handling and the sights and sounds associated with grooming to help prepare them for a lifetime of coat care.
CRATE TRAINING
Before go-home, we begin building a positive relationship with the crate through age appropriate routines, naps and gradually increasing independence. While families will still need to continue training at home, our goal is for the crate to already feel familiar, not completely new.
POTTY TRAINING
Potty foundations begin while our puppies are still with us. We introduce designated potty areas early and transition into consistent outdoor routines as they grow. No eight week old puppy goes home completely potty trained, but they leave understanding the beginning of a routine their family can continue at home.

Every puppy receives a comprehensive veterinary wellness exam, age appropriate vaccinations, and deworming before leaving our care, giving you peace of mind from the very beginning.
Every puppy is microchipped before go home, providing permanent identification and an extra layer of security should they ever become lost.
